In depth

Verdict

A competitive sprint with only 6lb separating all runners bar bottomweight Lordsbridge Boy, who has every chance after going down in a tight Newmarket finish this month. Hat-trick seeking Sarah's Verse will be popular after an easy victory at Bath last time, but this does rate a tougher assignment as she's been hit with a 9lb punishment by the assessor and faces different ground conditions. She may well maintain her progression but BIGGLES (NAP) is a very lightly-raced four-year-old who has really come to himself of late and his recent Newmarket second suggests that this drop back to 6f will prove ideal. Newton Jack and Spanish Star can also get involved.
