      Verdict

      Leading amateur Serena Brotherton has been booked for FAMOUS FOOTSTEPS (NAP), who has improved with every run and loved the fast surface at Brighton. A 4lb rise looks manageable and she can go in again. Point Louise gained her only victory on firm ground at Bath a year ago and is gradually dropping to a winnable mark while Brodie Hampson very nearly got Only The Brave home at Southwell though her mount hasn't won since 2018. Gavi Di Gavi has been racing in much better company but all of his five career victories have been on the all-weather.
