In depth

Verdict

Mr Ed should let his stamina do the talking in a race where he appears to have outstanding claims. Having had a good time last term he reappeared at Newbury last month to run a cracking third behind Cupboard Lover, and with the ground now coming right for him he looks set to score. Prize Dancer wasn't disgraced at Sandown last time and is likely to prove the biggest danger to Mr Ed, although Camzo's good third behind Kez at Yarmouth recently puts him in with a fair chance as well. Any money for Pip Payne's Amir Zaman would be interesting after his disappointing effort at Sandown last time.
