    Verdict

No stars here so PAISLEY is the pick with Bowsers Beau and Alqaffay as the most plausible dangers. Luca Cumani's filly was easy to back on debut though ran a very encouraging race under the circumstances to finish fifth behind a well regarded sort at Newmarket. This looks a weak maiden and a chance for recompense awaits. Bowsers Beau represents a resurgent yard. His dam is an unraced half-sister to Ghanaati so 11000 guineas could represent a value buy. Alqaffay invariably travels well in his races before emptying quickly. He is the benchmark by which the assessor will measure the validity of this form. Day Of The Eagle was a bitter disappointment on debut and will simply have to do much better. Lady's Art evidently must have had training troubles as her visits to the track have been sparse and well spread out. Red Army Commander's fourth was obtained in a desperate maiden and it would be disappointing were he to take a hand in the outcome of this race. Paisley will be a poor price but she will struggle to find easier opportunities than this.
