Hardly an easy end to the days racing however something has to win and the vote goes to Ice tango ahead of Winged Farasi and The King And I. The conditions of this race mean that any jockey riding for their own stable are able to claim an extra 3lbs weight allowance, which means that The King And I has a decent should. He has shown glimpses of ability so far although this step up in trip doesn't look ideal. Ice Tango was flattered to finish so close to French 1000 Guineas fourth Costume in a maiden at Ripon when last seen but that was an improvement on previous efforts and if building on that run he looks sure to mount a bold bid. Winged Farasi has been running in claimers but this is no better and at least Ron Harris' colt is consistent. He drops in trip which doesn't appear ideal. Kiss Chase makes his handicap debut today and whilst he is now on a low mark, he needs to step up on what he has shown so far. At a price Dansil In Distress has a squeak with a more experienced jockey on board, however Iced Tango gets the tentative nomination.
