In depth

Verdict

Baleegh won well on his debut and gets the vote here with Sharplaw Autumn and Storm On The Run the main dangers. The selection hails from the in-form Marcus Tregoning yard and he looks a nice colt on the evidence of his debut run when he beat Chalentina at Folkestone. He is sure to come on for the experience and with this step-up in trip also in his favour he looks the one to beat. Sharplaw Autumn is a nice filly and she will certainly win races and she did little wrong when finishing second behind Days Of My Life at Leicester. If the selection bounces then she should be the one to profit. Storm On The Run should be suited by the step-up in trip but the suspicion is that this colt may find this ground a little on the quick side to show his best. Tempsford Flyer won well last time and is the other with a solid chance of making the frame, but for the winner we are happy to return to the unexposed Baleegh.
