    Verdict

Seta struggles in Group races but Luca Cumani's charge thrives at this level and can't be ignored here, despite trying this trip for the first time. Preference, however, is for PRIMEVERE who is bred to stay and ran a cracker over 1m on rain-softened ground at Ascot last month when headed in the shadows of the post by Sooraah. Clinical was outclassed in the Coronation Stakes but should also play a part on her earlier third at Epsom, while Charleston Lady finished ahead of the selection at Newmarket in May but ran poorly at the same course next time. Opera Gal and Piano are both consistent fillies but probably have something to find at the weights to get competitive in this.
