Moonlight Sonata showed real promise in her first season and was expected to make a successful reappearance at Sandown but could only finish a well-beaten third. She can improve but will need to in this competitive affair in which Puzzle Time, who didn't get the best of runs at Beverley last time, takes a drop in grade. Palerma landed a handicap at this level at Brighton and then found a slow gallop all against her over a longer trip at Goodwood but Lisamour didn't appear to enjoy the fast ground at Doncaster after her Nottingham third. SWEET SELECTION has been raised 9lb for her comfortable victory on her handicap debut at Goodwood but she's progressing nicely and can complete a double.
