    Verdict

Richard Hannon has signalled his intention to win this with no less than four entries. Ryan Moore is on Prefect, who made a fair debut at Kempton before being beaten a long way at Newbury while Frankie Dettori rides SIRHEED for his retaining owner. The latter could be good enough as he led for most of the way before fading close home over a mile at Kempton and this looks his trip. Cam Hardie gets the mount on Holland Park, who started favourite for his debut at Newmarket last summer and ran well enough to finish third but hasn't been seen since. Pat Dobbs has the leg-up on the fourth of the Hannon team in Shell Bay, who looked a bit unlucky in-running over the course and distance last month and is expected to do better. Hugo Palmer's newcomer Ziggurat is worth noting in the market as this could be his optimum trip.
