In depth

Verdict

The Groove won this last year and is only 3lb higher. He also won at Chepstow two runs ago but was beaten six lengths off this mark at Ffos Las subsequently. FORTUNE AND GLORY has yet to win on Turf but wasn’t beaten far at Newbury in July and has been in good form over this trip on Polytrack since so Joseph Tuite’s gelding may be the one to beat. The Lords Walk has only found one too god the last twice but Sounds Approving was still beaten seven lengths when second at Windsor and Bristol Missile hasn’t really threatened since joining Richard Price and probably needs a bit further.
