Verdict

The first really competitive juvenile contest of the season featuring five previous winners. Patience Alexander routed her field at Wolverhampton but a question mark remains over the value of the form whilst Mylaporyours clearly improved from her debut last time. The form of Paddy Again's Redcar win has been nicely advertised by the subsequent Ripon success of the runner-up while newcomer Exentricity is from the first crop of Paco Boy. However, Richard Hannon is already assembling the usual high-quality juvenile army associated with the yard and TIGGY WIGGY could hardly have been more impressive when making a runaway winning debut at Kempton. The third and fourth have won since and she can double up before going on to better things.
