Verdict

The draw will likely play a part in this big field with recent Windsor winner Incentive drawn high along with last month’s Kempton third Red Tycoon and Lingfield scorer Met By Moonlight. With the ground riding fast, a low number may be preferable but Sir Roderic’s third at Leicester came over a mile. SPRING ROMANCE won four handicaps last year, one on Turf. He’s probably still on a fair mark and looks capable of defying top weight. Bounty Pursuit and The Lacemaker may need this but are worth a market check.
