Verdict

Johnny Murtagh has brought IRON MAJOR with perfectly-timed challenges to land handicaps at Galway and Sligo and his mount can land a four-timer here despite a 6lb rise in the weights. Like Magic, who finished fourth at Sligo, is 5lb better off and expected to get closer but Spirit Of Xaar is still looking a few pounds high in the weights. Patrickswell has raced over 5f on his last two starts and is better suited by today's trip while Burn The Floor looked very progressive when beating the consistent Jolie Jiconde at Leopardstown and a 5lb penalty shouldn't prevent another big effort.
