Verdict

Second to the smart Unaccompanied on his hurdling debut at Punchestown in December, Virgil Earp got off the mark over timber at Wexford on Friday but is surely worth opposing over this trip back on the Flat. Chamberofcommerce has shown definite signs of ability in his two runs to date and can't be ignored in the company while Jouster has been sent off favourite in his last two starts, though disappointed at Listowel last time. Great Huzzar should strip fitter for his sixth at Cork but the one to beat may be TASHQEEL. Kevin Prendergast's colt has been knocking on the door for a while now and a reproduction of recent efforts at the Curragh would probably suffice here.
