Verdict

Last month's Ballinrobe winner The Nutcracker was beaten less than a length by Credo Star off level weights in a poor contest at Wexford but was receiving 22lb when a head behind SPACE SHIP (NAP) at Down Royal. That gives Robbie Hennessey's son of Galileo the clear edge and he's since followed up in a much better race at Limerick. Credo Star has also improved to beat a better field at Sligo though that was over 2m4f on soft ground. Mr Boss Man was very impressive at Ballinrobe and that was only his second start over hurdles. Limerick scorer Riviera Sun ran a cracker in a hot handicap at Punchestown subsequently, though is another who might want further.
