Verdict

King High has already won three times this year but is becoming increasingly difficult to predict. The more consistent Mayday Frontier continues to creep up the handicap despite a losing run that stretches back more than a year, while the four-year-old Ocean Bright overcame inexperience to beat a decent field over C&D last month and won't have been easy for the handicapper to assess. But she is passed over in favour of the penalised COOLAVANNY GAFFER, who beat a good yardstick in Let's Go Sunshine at Kilbeggan last week and probably has a little more to offer.
