Verdict

Bond Babe is taken to beat stablemate Bond Puccini in the opener, with Oceanico Dot Com and newcomer Dispol Charm worth a mention. This fairly weak maiden should be well within the grasp of Bond Babe who has shaped better than most on all three starts to date. Bryan Smart's filly showed plenty of speed at Hamilton last time, and will cope with the ground, so a similar effort should be enough. Jockey bookings suggest that she is the one to be on rather than Bond Puccini, although the latter is expected to come on for his Musselburgh debut when he was outpaced. Oceanico Dot Com will prove to be a danger after her second to Coleorton Dancer at Thirsk. The latter scored again at Newmarket on Saturday to give that form a solid look and it will be a surprise if she does not take a hand in the finish at least. Dispol Charm comes from a yard that gets plenty of winners here and is sure to have been well readied for her introduction, so the market should be noted, but we shall stick with Bond Babe, despite the claims of Oceanico Dot Com.
