In depth

Verdict

Upthedowns is taken to score in the opener with Play Coy and Magnolia Blossom rated as the main dangers. The selection seemed to win with a little in hand at Yarmouth last time when defeating Wizard Quay. He has the plum draw in stall 15 and with conditions to suit he is taken to score. Play Coy rates the main danger as he made a pleasing debut at Thirsk behind One Tricky Pony. He was doing his best work at the finish so the step-up in trip should suit and providing he handles this faster surface he is entitled to be thereabouts at the finish. Magnolia Blossom has shown some promise in her four runs to date but she gave the impression that she did not see out this trip last time and for that reason we will take her on. Furs N Gems and Sweetly Sharp are interesting and they could go well at an each-way price but for the winner we will stick with Upthedowns.
