Muntadab hasn’t raced since April and is best over 7f having last scored over today’s trip back in 2016. Cold Stare finished in front of Diamond Dougal when scoring on heavy going at Haydock in June and is preferred to stablemate Muscika on his second outing after wind surgery while Flying Pursuit makes more appeal than stablemate Bossipop given it was soft ground when the former won this back in 2017. BARON BOLT (NAP) has yet to score this year but he came good at this time last season when landing the Ayr Gold Cup in testing ground. Paul Cole’s sprinter is 6lb lower for this and is taken to return to winning ways given both Gunmetal and Citron Major would both prefer faster underfoot conditions.
