        Verdict

        Probably best to stick with the previous winners although both It's Been Noted and Baileys Prayer warrant market checks along with the Easterby pair. BIRKENHEAD and Rodney Tee won the two divisions of a Beverley novice auction 10 days ago and preference is for the former to build on that success. He showed a good battling attitude to prevail that day and recorded a faster time than the O'Meara inmate, although that was the latter's debut and he is obviously open to progression - the selection also looks better drawn of the pair here. Keep an eye on Manolith as he was exceptionally green first time up and should be all the better for that initial experience.
