Richard Whitaker won this last year with Pipers Note though that was on fast ground while his stable companion Avon Breeze made a promising comeback at Pontefract on Monday. Alben Star landed the All-Weather Sprint Championship at Lingfield so the lack of fitness won't be a concern but in a wide-open handicap it's NAMEITWHATYOULIKE who gets the nod as he loves this sort of ground as he demonstrated here, at Pontefract and Doncaster last season.
