    Verdict

    Conditions may have turned against Qaaddim but Eastern Sheriff had excuses at Lingfield earlier this month and there may be further improvement on this surface. MARCELA DE VEGA is another making her debut on Turf but she should be suited and her stamina may well come into play, though Dark Heart will find this easier than the Lingfield Derby Trial. Socially Shady appears to have gone backwards since a promising debut.
