Ticks The Boxes has been in good form at Southwell but has just the one win in 29 starts on Turf while Red Stripes won at the same track last time having done all his winning on the all-weather so far. Astrophysics last won on Turf in 2016 but Indian Pursuit scored at Thirsk last week and is 4lb higher today. QAARAAT won off a higher mark at Leicester last summer and was beaten only a neck at Beverley during the week. An apprentice’s allowance further helps his cause today and he gets the nod.
