        Verdict

        Precious Skye has shown some hint of improvement for her three outings and probably would have fared better in last week’s claimer if she hadn’t stumbled at the start, but that was a poor race. Jester Spirit takes a significant drop in class here but hasn’t been within six lengths of the winner in three outings so far, so preference is for RACEMAKER. He struggled to stay the trip when upped to 7f last time but the form of his novice second at Windsor in June entitles him to win this. Yorkshire Star finished second in a similar contest earlier this month and can make the frame.
