The market should be viewed with a certain amount of interest here, with our selection being Jojesse ahead of Silly Gilly and Eastern Princess. Jojesse was returning from a break when running pretty well in handicap company at Carlisle on July 29th. She drops to this grade for the first time and looks one of the more likely types for the contest. Rann Na Cille holds chances on his all-weather form and is another that is dropping to this grade for the first time, while Silly Gilly has proven that he can compete at this level, and even won a Redcar handicap outside of this grade two runs ago. Spinning Game showed that she retained some ability when just denied in a Musselburgh apprentice handicap last time and a repeat of that would give her claims. Eastern Princess has been knocking at the door in slightly better grade than this of late and should be granted all due respect, while Tang is lightly raced and has shown enough on the all-weather to be given some thought today. Mind The Style could be fancied if running close to the form of his April claiming win, while, finally, The Brat surely has enough form to be given a chance at this lowly level and Banana Belle has at least shown some form. For the selection, though, we will stick with Jojesse.
