      Verdict

      Spartan Fighter cost 45,000gns and has a very speedy pedigree. He was well supported for his Carlisle debut but didn't get the best of runs and should make a bold bid for compensation. Javea Magic was a 20/1 chance on his Leicester debut over 6f but led for a long way and the shorter trip should enable him to finish in the frame. A'ALI cost £135,000 after the Goffs Breeze-up in April, £100,000 more than as a yearling so he must have shown something special. He can start paying his way here though Richard Fahey's filly Precocity cost £75,000 and is very speedily-bred so she's another to note.
