        Verdict

        Wrenthorpe makes most appeal of those with racecourse experience given he was beaten only a short-head over track and trip last time. He’s preferred to stablemate Lady Sophiebella, who was a long way behind Scenic River when the latter finished only sixth at Pontefract. Richard Fahey runs three newcomers but Aljady has a middle-distance pedigree and Spanish Mane is preferred while 230,000gns purchase Rux Ruxx is another to note. But the Haggas yard has a fine strike rate with two-year-olds at the track and it’s TALLOW, a half-sister to the high-class Lahaleeb, that gets the vote on her debut.
