        Verdict

        MY BEST FRIEND has to give weight to his rivals having won over 6f at Hamilton last June but he’s a strong type who looks likely to make a three-year-old so may be up to the task. Danny Bleu was beaten in a seller at Leicester earlier this month and is having a first run for new connections but Ireland's Eye is interesting as he didn’t have the pace to get competitive over 5f at York on debut. Lilikoi drops back in distance after finishing third over a mile here and Cleveleys was placed over 6f here last year. Canaria Prince is worth a market check but Tim Easterby’s three-year-olds often improve with experience.
