Verdict

Profile Star never looked like catching the winner at Thirsk last time but finished ahead of Jedward and Master Bond. Avon Breeze carries a penalty for an easy win at Ripon but steps up in class today and Lucky Dan never figured in this grade last time. Willbeme showed good progress last term and may figure on her seasonal debut along with Above Standard but ANGELITO gets the nod. Ed McMahon's charge just failed to catch Bedloe's Island at Thirsk on his return to action and there should be more to come from him having won twice over the minimum trip last year.
