      Verdict

      This looks a good opportunity for Bid For Gold to finally lose his maiden tag, Vadinka and Rue Soleil look the best of the others. Jedd O'Keefe's charge has earned a rating of 70 with some decent efforts last season. His recent run behind A Big Sky Brewing is only modest form but it could be good enough to land this week contest. Vadinka appears to be a better horse with some cut in the ground, however he is closely matched with the selection on official ratings and should be in the shake up. Rue Soleil was entered in a seller earlier this week so is only modest, however she did run well in a maiden last time out and is no forlorn hope here. The rest make little appeal and so it is not too difficult a task for our choice, Bid For Gold.
