Verdict

TRICORN is the pick of the weights on official ratings having completed a four-timer, mainly on fast going, last summer. He wouldn't have enjoyed soft ground on his reappearance and his overall form puts him in the driving seat. Eight-times winner Zihaam ran quite well on his return to action at Beverley last week while Mythical Madness gained his 13th career success on the Polytrack at Lingfield a couple of weeks ago. Kingson has two Tapeta victories to his credit this year and the soft ground wouldn't have suited on this track earlier in the month. Winter Daydream, by Dubawi out of a Ribblesdale winner, has been sent a long way for his belated debut in this lowly grade.
