In depth

Verdict

A chance is taken that Getbuzzin is forward enough to do himself justice and he gets the vote over Mr Cheers and Il Divo. Others to take notes on include: Lord Jack Flash, whose yard usually have their string primed for this time of year. Shaydreambeliver also makes some appeal on pedigree and is one to bear in mind as he gains in experience. Il Divo is a cheap purchase that is related to several winners abroad. However, his yard are not really noted for first time out winners and he will probably need this if he runs to type. Mr Cheers is a half-brother to juvenile winner Dispol Pete and can be expected to know his job sooner rather than later. Tim Easterby does not have the best record with his two-year-old at this track though and he is another that might just be better for the experience today. Therefore, slender preference goes to Getbuzzin, who has several winners in his family and hails from a stable that are adept at placing a horse of his type. Considering that Mark Wallace has a fifty percent strike-rate from the four juveniles he has sent up to Redcar previously, this course has been a happy hunting ground for the Newmarket-based handler. Which bodes well for Getbuzzin, who is fancied to get off the mark at the first time of asking.
