SWOOPING EAGLE improved for the application of headgear and the step up to today’s trip when finishing second at Chepstow. Roger Varian’s charge should be winning soon on that evidence. Several lightly-raced types have the potential to go close including Myrmidons and Genesius, who should both improve for recent handicap debuts, while the returning Ruby Shield is preferred to Bollin Margaret now handicapping.
