Verdict

Course and distance winner Planetaria went close again at Beverley but has been raised a further 4lb for his trouble. Furiant failed to cope off today’s mark last time having won at Ripon before that while Midnight Macchiato was placed at Newmarket before struggling at Musselburgh behind third-placed WEEKEND OFFENDER. The latter was set a stiff task on his handicap debut and should find this easier dropping down a grade. The unexposed Bronte Flyer is another dropping down in class and could go well.
