In depth

Verdict

Hi Dancer, Dance Sauvage and Silver Seeker look the trio to look at here, with Hi Dancer, a course and distance winner, set to underline his versatility. Dance Sauvage is still a maiden but he will be fitter for his re-appearance effort at Musselburgh. He was second three times last year and has now retreated to a similar mark and it would not be a surprise to see him in the shake up. Having twice won over jumps in the meantime, Silver Seeker was running on the level for the first time in three years when justifying favouritism at Musselburgh this month. That was a decisive win, and as that was an apprentice race he retains the same handicap mark and is a threat. A winner on the Flat and over jumps last year, Hi Dancer has run well on both starts this term on Turf. He has a touch of quality which his rivals may lack, and if rain falls, then an easier surface would pose no problem. Hi Dancer can win once more here.
