    Verdict

Some familiar names line up for this Listed race including the evergreen Quito, who came back to form on the sand recently, but the vote goes to The Kiddykid who gets the vote ahead of Obe Gold. The selection held his form well last term, including on a soft surface, and is taken to confirm last season's Duke Of York form with Steenberg meeting the Mark Tompkins-trained gelding on the same terms. Fire Up The Band is strictly held by Les Arcs on running at Lingfield last time and is probably better over the minimum anyway, while Reverence is less exposed than most but needs to improve significantly to trouble the selection. Pivotal Flame has gone well fresh in the past and is another to consider along with Captain Hurricane, although the latter's stable could be in better form. Obe Gold has an obvious chance with the yard of Mick Channon in good form but the vote goes to The Kiddykid in the hope that he can reproduce his early season form of last year.
