Verdict

WHAT'S THE POINT went close over today's trip in similar ground at Musselburgh last time and gets a token vote to go one better. It was soft going when Triple Eight finished third at Newcastle recently and Sir George makes more appeal as he was beaten only a couple of lengths despite finishing fifth at Pontefract three weeks ago just ahead of Talent Scout. Broctune Papa Gio has been in better form of late and Iceblast is another to consider.
