In depth

Verdict

Gold Arch has switched yards since winning over 1m4f at Newcastle but Kensington Art scored over today’s trip at Catterick last year. Lady Scatterley won a maiden race at Pontefract in October while Nataleena is usually thereabouts over 2m at Newcastle. Running Cloud won on the all-weather back in January but Alexanderthegreat hasn’t raced since 2018 and winning hurdler WHISKEY AND WATER gets the speculative vote returning to the Flat having finished third at Catterick when last seen on the level.
