Verdict

David Simcock won’t have had too many runners at Redcar so the fact that he sends GLEAMING GIRL here to contest a very minor event suggests that the breeding paddocks are in mind. Cabal should prove a tough nut to crack and the Thirsk winner is entirely capable of defying the penalty that she accrued for her success. Nouvelli Dancer gave connections plenty of fun over the winter and she looked unlucky at Chester last week. Barwah won back-to-back handicaps at Newcastle and Beverley and she is much better than her recent outing may indicate. Lilozza is sent handicapping after three very inauspicious starts as a juvenile and the market is likely to give us a fair idea as to whether she has progressed in the interim.
