        Verdict

        MECCA'S TEAM has twice been placed in maidens, including her latest start at Catterick, and she won't have to find much improvement to come out best on her handicap debut. Michael Dods' filly gets the nod ahead of Tancred Spirit, who has been placed on her last four starts, and last week's Leicester third Hootys Agogo. Bygones For Coins went close at Musselburgh in between his more usual modest efforts, while Hygrove Gal has the past form to figure and should have come on for her recent reappearance.
