Verdict

Patronage, Industrial Spirit and Yazaar are on the shortlist and Patronage can at long last get his head in front. John Gosden sends Yazaar up for this contest and he ran in a decent maiden at Anaamil at Haydock last time. Not disgraced in sixth, he will find this much easier and will be thereabouts. Industrial Spirit was an unconsidered 66-1 shot when finishing fifth behind Consular, also at Haydock last time and time may tell that was a hot contest. He will not be that sort of price here but may still represent value. Patronage has been knocking on the door all season and was pipped by Rosecliff in a Thirsk handicap last time. He will find this a little easier despite facing two promising rivals and Patronage can make his experience tell.
