    Verdict

Give It Some Teddy ended a long losing run on heavy going here at the end of last season but is 5lb higher on his return. Crownthorpe has been in cracking form on the all-weather and Young Fire won at Wolverhampton last month. BELHAVEN won the final of this series last year as a three-year-old with Copper And Five fourth and Give It Some Teddy sixth. There may well be more to come this season from Harry Eustace’s filly. Maysong was third in the Spring Mile at Doncaster at the start of the month but La Trinidad reserves his best for York. Swiss Ace is preferred to the returning Shaladar of the others.
