        Verdict

        A tricky first division of this qualifier. Give It Some Teddy runs his best races here and was sent off favourite for the final of this series last year, though only finished sixth. Young Fire has already won four times this year but has a welter burden to shoulder while Alethiometer has never tackled going this soft. STAR PLAYER (NAP) was badly hampered when favourite at Chester last month. He is Kevin Phillipart De Foy’s only runner here today and can recoup losses as Painters Palette needs to bounce back from a poor run at Ascot while Centre Court continues to disappoint.
