In depth

Formwatch

Benny The Vice (USA) Second penultimate start, subsequently running in better company. Heads the weights, should have every chance at this level.

Athenian Ran in a decent Nursery at Newmarket last time when out of maiden company, does not appear to have come improved for his runs but at this level cannot be ignored.

First Ordained (IRE) Ran well earlier in the season, was raised 4lbs for good run at Newmarket, but has since shown nothing special; off a good mark and cannot be ignored.

Old Opium Lightly raced and won on the AW last time over this distance; one for the short list.

McBain (USA) Second in Newmarket Nursery ahead of Athenian, clearly appreciated step up in trip; cannot be ignored.

Gainful Well beaten at Ascot last time, first go at this trip.

Face The Judge (USA) Promising first run when finishing second, ground against her last time and should run better today.

Chesnut Ripple Well weighted today and has some respectable runs to her name but nothing to suggest she can win this.

Remedy Distance winner penultimate start on soft, put up 4lbs, subsequently BF over 6f. Should go better back over this trip; one for the short list.

Another Aspect (IRE) Distance winner last time, well behind Remedy at Brighton over 6f. Trip suits today; sound chances.

Likely Lady (IRE) Has not raced beyond 6f; others preferred.

Charnwood Street (IRE) stepped up to this trip last time without much success (GF ground probably did not help); others preferred.

Crosby Dancer The further he goes the better he runs, first time over this trip but will need to find a lot to win it.

Mana Pools (IRE) Was beaten in a Seller last time out; needs to improve on all known form to win this.

On Coo Lay (IRE) Has been well beaten in sellers and best form (placed) has been on firm ground.

Primarosa Has hung in all races to date, and needs to keep a straight course to have any chance.

General Amnesty (IRE) Is related to a stayer and will be better watched as a 3-y-o over further.

Invitado (IRE) Is from a good middle distance family, first run in Nursery; each way claims.

Roppongi Dancer Is from a stable in top form but needs to improve on all known form to take a hand here.
