In depth

Verdict

Patontheback has had all bar one of his nine starts on Tapeta, completing a double over 6f in December. PALLAS LORD gets the nod after winning two handicaps at Newcastle this year and he's just 2lb higher than his success ten days ago. Harvest Day wins her share and was going on strongly at Southwell last time after missing the break while Mr Orange, eleven-times a winner, would have a good chance at his best though has never won first-time-back. Captain Claret has moved to Ruth Carr and has dropped to a fair mark
