Verdict

CHAMPAGNE BOB (NAP) has won twice on soft ground in the past few weeks and it's unlikely a 6lb penalty will prevent another big run as he's likely to go up a few pounds more when reassessed. With his young rider's claim a bonus, he's given the nod to make it three out of four. Caltra Colleen also arrives with a penalty and though her recent victory was in a poor claimer she did manage to win by eight lengths. Sacred Bond has to be a major threat as she was having her first start since March when runner-up to Bold Sprit at Musselburgh on her handicap debut and is on the same mark. Rocco's Delight completed a hat-trick earlier this year and didn't run badly at Ayr in September so, if the ground stays on the soft side, he has to be considered along with Belle Dormant, who has been finding sprint distances too short.
