    Verdict

A very tricky race where RIGHT GRAND is just preferred to a whole host of others. William Haggas applies blinkers for the first-time to the son of Exceed And Excel, who was give a run here earlier in the month to qualify for this final. Good ground and this trip should be ideal, and with the yard going well we will side with this potential improver. Top weight Kiwi Bay looks a big danger with Hanagan up and winning form over course and distance, while the return to this trip for Caldercruix can see him battling for some money. Daaweitza is likely to be hugely competitive following his comfortable Pontefract success, while others with claims include Don't Call Me and Dream Win.
