In depth

Verdict

Denham Sound has done more than enough in her four starts over timber to suggest she can figure in a race like this. Miss Sassie ran her best race so far when third behind Miss Sapphire at Wexford earlier this month and Gi Jayne did likewise when runner-up at Tramore. Kiera Royale is more exposed than most but has been placed in six of her 14 career starts so can’t be ignored, though a tentative vote goes to DAWN IN THE PARK. Joseph O’Brien’s mare needs to brush up her jumping but she went well for a long way at Clonmel on Thursday and should be a factor here if fully recovered.
