In depth

Verdict

The once-useful Osana is approaching the veteran stage and hasn't run since last summer but he's probably not finished yet and is one to keep an eye on over the coming weeks. Barry Geraghty and FRIENDLY SOCIETY found AP McCoy and Jansboy a short-head too good over hurdles at Limerick on Monday and it's a long time since Mick Hourigan's charge won a race but he arrives in good form and can make a winning transition to the bigger obstacles. Westhaven scored over timber on fast ground during the summer and the conditions won't be a problem though he's yet to reach a place in six starts over fences. Black Benny is a major threat as he's generally performed at a higher level though his jumping wan't particularly fluent in a novice event at Killarney last time.
