Verdict

Diamond King has won four races in bumpers and over hurdles and his later defeats came when stepped up in class. THE JOB IS RIGHT is much better known as a staying chaser and has produced two very good efforts in recent races at Cheltenham and Leopardstown. He won over timber at Galway in October and, with conditions playing to his strengths, he can get back on the winning trail. Art Of Payroll would probably have lost his maiden tag over fences at Ballinrobe in September but for falling two out and reverts to hurdling as does his stable companion All Hell Let Loose, a close second to Nichols Canyon in the Grade 1 Royal Bond at Fairyhouse just over a year ago. The latter needs a confidence booster after a poor run over fences while Jennies Jewel wasn't at her best in her last two starts after an impressive victory on the Flat at Galway in October. Theophilus scored on heavy going on the level and on his hurdling debut at Leopardstown just over a year ago so he's no forlorn hope in an intriguing finale.
